Provincial and Demonstration Schools Branch is pleased to launch our new and updated website. Our website is one tool we use to provide students, parents, and community members with educational information related to our schools for the Deaf, our Pre-School/Home visiting services to families and our Resource /Outreach services to school boards. We trust that you will explore our website and find it useful in supporting your child’s educational development.

Our schools for the Deaf are linguistically and culturally diverse schools that pride themselves on supporting the delivery of the Ontario curriculum through various student pathways. Strong student citizenship and innovation in Deaf education are at the center of what we do. We provide high quality educational services that are based upon best and current practices world-wide. We continue to be leaders in the education of Deaf and hard of hearing students through a bilingual, bicultural approach to education and as such we have developed and we deliver the only ASL curriculum world-wide. We continually monitor and assess our practices and progress and as such our schools for the Deaf have developed a culture that is proud of our inclusive and bilingual practices, innovative technology, professional learning, and most importantly values and supports to all our students and families.
